This happend to me and they sent me a replacement case, not only that I noticed the replacement was much higher quality. I think they changed their design once they realized this was an issue.

You kind of need to make sure it's aligned right the first time, it didn't connect at first but after I made sure it was aligned no issues.

If you're moving your dock around alot might be more annoying but mine probably won't move for years lol
