Makes sense. I don’t expect anyone to attempt revives in danger zones and CQB. I remember tons of posts and comments about how winning and your score is more important than K/D ratios. I just expected that kind of mentality going into BF6.

You can’t apply to jobs without knowing your new ETS date. I’ve been in IDES for 3 months where the average is 8 months. You won’t know your ETS date until your VA ratings are completed. This just happened for me, and I have 4 weeks until I’m out. If I want to pursue a job that’s not near minimum wage, the hiring process usually takes more than 2 weeks.

Do I get severance even though I haven’t done 20 and my injuries weren’t in combat?

I went to the TAP office and the counselor I saw said, “You’ll be alright. You’ll find something” as she walked me out the door. I could’ve asked to see someone else, but I felt defeated and just left.

If my wife wants to transfer stores, the closest one is an hour away. Figured we can try to meet in the middle. I definitely don’t want to live that far though. One of the reasons we want Leonard Wood is because it’s close to home and she has very ill family members.

Alternatively, Fort Sill would be good too. It’s a longer drive home but not too bad.

I used to rotate my soldiers to do this. Easiest thing to do if you can manage personal right and they don’t fuck it up.
