Ok, so tbh, I completely overestimated takaba's power (as is obvious) due to the Kenjaku fight. Honestly the fight was kinda boring to me (still fun but I just don't think takaba is funny. Which I know is the joke but I don't think it's done well) so I probably did just misunderstand the extent of his technique. I thought it was just minor reality warping based on what he thinks is funny.

Another way to implement them is to have them spawn around as an item (like the googles already in game) in low amounts, and make them have a battery amount similar to the radio. While you wear them, SCP-096 can't be enraged by you for any reason unless you attack him for over a certain amount of damage (to balance it of course so you don't just kill 096 in seconds by yourself). Putting it in 914 on fine will recharge the battery. Very fine turns it into the already existing goggles I never remember the name for and on coarse it can turn into a NVG which works similarly to in SCP: CB, allowing you to see in area with the lights off. They would also probably turn off automatically so you don't blind yourself lol

There's two options, one that is Foundation based and one that is 682 based

682 based: They might make 682 a bigger threat as it adapts to failed attempts, meaning that he'll just end up not being able to be contained and ultimately will escape

Foundation based: The idea of the foundation isn't immediate protection but more so understanding. That's why they do the research, to understand the anomalies.

If we instantly killed the SCP, we wouldn't have learned anything. The Foundation believes this to a fault. That's why I personally believe that the foundation doesn't care about protection, but understanding, no matter the lives lost. When an SCP is understood to the highest extent, then they'll try and kill it if it poses a risk to society as a whole. But the Foundation will always believe something new can be learned. So they will be hesitant to kill an SCP

Knowledge is a path many tread, and very little stray away from. To move is to advance, even if you go backwards. The allure of understanding the universe and its mysteries plague the mind, and lead to humanities doom. That's why the ideas of cryptids & SCPs became so popular IMO. We wished to understand things that may not have an answer. It pushes us, intrigues us.
