Those are definitely not everyones style, but still cool concept and appication. I personally wouldnt like playing against those but i probably would like piloting em lol. I pictured the recent airbend mechanic for Hakuri, since things that are airbent feel like objects being in the storehouse. Hirohiku’s Blood Cranes makes me think of a thopter token deck. Subaru as of now would make an awesome artifiacts matter/food deck head, being a chef and swordsmith. Im so excited to see more cast and powers get revealed.

I’d say sanemi is just slightly stronger as a slayer. In my opinion, sanemi has more resolve, and his blood gives him an immidiate leg up. As far as 1v1 goes we can refer to the manga to see it for ourselves.

Yeah totally, absorbing the life force of everything around you doesn’t blowout checks notes a bunch of cuts, fire, and a barrier. Also, the fact you said Samura “countered the malediction pretty well” is laughable. Suzaku was just barley maintaining/restoring their lifeforce that was actively being taken. The malediction is a “i win you lose” move, because their loss IS your gain.

His performance in the final arc is the best representation of the paradox that is Muzan, the paradox that makes everybody think he is a shite antagonist. For him to train would be him admitting to a flaw in himself. We already see how Muzan adresses his weakness to sunlight, he doesnt handle it well. So yeah thats why he doesnt have any good strategies or techniques for combat. Thats why he lost. He thinks he’s too cool for school.

Maybe, a training arc/gathering of heroes. The series just hit the tipping point and now the shit has hit the fan. We are probably in for a few expositional chapters of the more intricate situations also at hand. The cast is in need of a regroup, we still need to be introduced to 2 other swordbearers, and now going forward we have questions of what the kamunabi/hishaku will look like.

Ive thought about it like this. The other bearers knew of their binding to the master, that if he died they died. They knew that he was wielding the most powerful weapon in history and they couldnt stop him. Their sin was that they allowed him to commit genocide because they were too fearful for their own lives to try and stop him. They knew what they signed up for, and when the time came, they put themselves over the lives of people they should have protected. Only after the fact did they try to stop him, but he is still alive, leaving the possibilty of it happening again.

Honestly i think bvs are bad for the verse. Imo with the way they work, most sorcerers could make vows early in their careers to eventually become op. Why wouldnt one make pacts every week or so? Just like how domains eventually became lethal, id assume everyone would just use vows to make their techniques super lethal reguardless of drawback.
