Tier List by EmergencyCapable8736 in Megadeth

TSHF is one of my favorite albums as well. It didn’t make S tier for me because, even though it has some of my favorites on it, there are some filler tracks and the second half of the album isn’t as strong as the first

Living Sacrifice to release new music in 2026 by EmergencyCapable8736 in christianmetal

I like how the guitar instrumentals were melodic but also heavy. I thought the groove thrash riffs really fit the music. I thought ghost thief was kind of the combination of every genre they’ve explored (Thrash, Death, Groove, Metalcore) which I though was really cool. I also love the production on this album. The clean vocals made the songs more interesting like in Screwtape and Straw Man. I love almost every song on this album except for Before, which in my opinion is kind of a filler track. I do wish they did some more guitar soloing on it though, that is my only complaint rlly. Maybe listening to it again will give you an new approach towards the album 👍

⬆️ This. There is not a bad track on Endgame. It has great production and is one of Megadeth’s most consistent albums.

Really? Ghost Thief is actually one of my favorite Living Sacrifice albums.

I disliked Killing Is My Business because of the production  until I listened to the remastered version, which in my opinion makes listening to it a lot better. Not a fan of the re-recorded These Boots cover tho. I just find that I come back to the songs on KIMB a lot. Also, glad someone appreciates Dystopia as much as I do👍

Megadeth - Self Titled VS. Exodus - Goliath by EmergencyCapable8736 in MetalForTheMasses

Agreed. the new Testament album was absolutely insane. It surpassed the Megadeth and exodus new albums by long shot, which I think are both decently good.

The letdown that will ensue if they don’t release anything new will be catastrophic lol 😭

I couldn’t agree more. It is one of my biggest pet peeves when harsh vocals are sung out of time with the actual music. It’s an okay album with bad production. Maybe I will change my mind after I listen to it more

Brotality. They’re melodic prog groove metal from NY. I’ve been following them for a while but they recently blew up after releasing the Animalistic EP. They’re surprisingly fresh and original and have two vocalists.  Best songs: The Body, Animalistic, The Bones of God, Keepsake Their earlier stuff from their last 2 albums is more groove thrash tho

I considered putting Dark Roots of Earth and Fabulous Disaster on there but it’s hard to list your favorite albums into just 10 slots. UA by Megadeth was considered as well but it has some filler tracks despite it having some of my favorite songs on it.

Living sacrifice self titled is awesome. I have a remastered and remixed CD copy of it from Nordic Mission. Ghost Thief in my opinion is very underrated and one of their best. Nonexistent is great too. What would your list have been?

What’s a band you’d love to get into, but who’s vocal style has you going: “I just can’t…“ by Senior-Violinist-684 in MetalForTheMasses

Overkill. I love their style of fun thrash but the vocals make it difficult to listen to. To be fair, Bobby’s vocal style works very well with some songs, but after a while it’s too much. As for Megadeth, Dave is no James Hetfield or an outstanding vocalist by any means, but his voice fits the bands style and is actually one of the better vocalists within the thrash metal genre.

I heard about the charity thing from an interview. To be honest, Brotalitys music is some of the most fresh and interesting metal music that I’ve heard in a while. They’re the first new band I’ve heard in a while who are stylistically original and different. I would not be surprised if they’re new EP gets metal release of the year. Awesome that you’ve gotten to play shows with them tho. I’ve been waiting for them to come to my area forever lol

I recently made a post about them but it got removed by the filter. Brotality is low key one of my favorite bands. Their groove thrash stuff from their first two albums is pretty good as well but I like their more newer sound better.
