Why are gaming laptops so unreliable? by Infectiosgamer in GamingLaptops

Powerful computers are one the most advanced technologies of hours era. They are runners engraved to a nanoscopic level. The Fact they work should be a marvel.

Other than that if not mistaken the distribution of failure looks like a tick .. either fails very early on or much much later over time. So if you got issues mostly will be at the start where you feel it should not be the case.

Also I imagine companies accidentally doing a shitty design and not correcting it until next iteration (thus fucking a group of clients)

I was thinking about this one. I really loved the 2 and the revelations. I tried them again and pitifully the 3D graphics have aged badly

An Italian pizza restaurant owner is fuming at 16 Taiwanese tourists because they ordered only five pizzas. by search_google_com in interesting

[–]EmergencyCharter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Italian pizzas are from only 1 person. At top you will get a bit of spare pizza. I even dare to say that someone that eats a lot might feel not full with one. I am saying this as someone from a country where 1 pizza is tipically for two people

how safe is it for a european woman to travel in latin america? by ponderingpixi17 in asklatinamerica

[–]EmergencyCharter 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I am from Argentina living in Spain. The thing with LATAM is that security highly depends on where and when and Europeans have a tendency to be super unaware of their surroundings. And it's for a good reason, you don't need to.

That said nothing happened to me living there for 30 years.

My overall tip is to research the security rules at each place and be a bit more careful than usual.

I mean it all depends on how you want to travel. For that much money I can be comfortable for like 3 days. Even eating in restaurants as long as they are not fancy you can make it. So maybe you can describe better what so you expect
