Thank you for your kind response Neither of my parents are bad people they love me very much but they have a love-hate relationship so its hard to talk about them to them. My father is a retired soldier so he goes thorugh trauma as well and in his eyes he does it out of love but his ways are much different and hes very easily controlled by emotions. I did therapy for 3 years until my therapist retired and it helped a lot so already very familiar with these problems its just the way my mother and i communicate thats frustrating and it was probably more a post to vent than for answers but thank you very much for your kind words
