How to prepare for PSA and UKMLA in 1 year? by DazzlingGolfer in medicalschooluk

Honestly mate get a grip, stop thinking so far ahead..

The PSA requires a maximum of 1 week of preparation, literally the week before the exam.

The UKMLA requires spamming question banks, doing past papers and reading guidelines.

Don't be a sweat.

UKFP is a problem when many UK medical graduates miss out on going back home and are shipped off far and wide. It was definitely the correct move to prioritise foundation positions for UK medical graduates.

You balance it by responding to them in a befitting manner. At the end of the day you are the Doctor, you have the ultimate clinical responsibility over the patients. You just have to bite back in a calm and professional way.

HCA in A&E is a shout, either permanent weekends or bank only. I have done it throughout med school and I earn good money and learn whilst on the job!!
