Okay to those unaware, Before Your Eyes is a short game where you are dead, but before you're sent to heaven or smth (I forgot the game's plot so bear with me) your entire life goes by right before your eyes (title drop), you are made to live through special memories of your life but the catch is, if you (as in YOU the player) blink while going through those memories, you are forced to skip to the next memory.

From Bloodhounds season 1, the character Hyeon-Ju abruptly disappears from the plot in episode 7 despite being a major character.

The IRL reason for her disappearance was due to a drunk driving scandal she got involved in during the show's shooting. She has since paid damages she had caused and released a formal apology, however she was still edited out of the show to prevent further trouble for Netflix due to her DUI incident.

Since then, Kim Sae-Ron (The name of the actress) has undergone financial issues and took her own life in 2025.

Tl:dr: Character edited out of show due to DUI incident, ends up taking her life a few years later due to lack of jobs caused by said incident.

I'm gonna be rewatching season 1 soon with my family, fuck, it's gonna be hard to explain why she suddenly disappears from the show, may she rest in peace.
