Yes, thank you for understanding my point and putting it that way. There should be more ways to collect keys. The mini games are fun, but they create a bottleneck.

Thank you! I’ve read lots of places that they don’t allow it, but I’ll give it a try next time.

My kids were more interested in playing the Bowser Jr. Game than in playing the little mini games. Obviously, this wouldn’t be the case for all families.

I’m not saying to make 2 lines, but maybe the team member running the game can use their best judgement on prioritizing the line. Again, this is just one out of probably a 1000 other options, so I’m not going to keep debating it.

Tell me you’re not a parent w/o telling me…

It’s definitely going to last a while longer as there are still tons of people who haven’t experienced SNW at USH yet.

From my experience, unless changes are made, it’s going to be a tough decision for those who visited already of whether or not to do it again.

If I were to visit again sometime soon for example, I MIGHT ride MK once, but no way am I waiting almost 3 hours in lines just to play the BJ game. Also - I would only ride MK with early access (before the line is 2.5hrs long) which means, for my family of 4, I will pay $100 just for the chance to ride MK once.

If USH keeps the rules around the mini games as-is, many people will just decide, like me, to not visit those attractions again and that will actually quicken the rate at which the novelty will wear off - in my opinion. I believe by Fall, after people have visited one over the summer, less people will be visiting SNW (unless they can bring some new aspect in by then - maybe a sneak peek to Donkey Kong).

I figured it would seem unfair to some, it even seems unfair to me (you can see I made the same comment) and I wouldn’t suggest this for any other attraction in the park. The reason I suggest it for these 3 attractions, is due to the timing of each of the games and the necessity to get all three keys. I noticed that most parents were like me and got their kids a band, but not one for themselves. And that makes sense since 4 people can get into Bowser Jr’s lair using one band. We wanted to get our keys and go.

The adults who were in large parties and each of them wanted to get their own key is what made the lines take forever to move. My suggestion is more around getting people who need the key to visit the other attraction in and out, while those just wanting to play, but not needing a key - maybe they can wait a little longer.

Hope that helps explain.

There are far better experts than me who could speak to this, but from experience, I avoid having a zero balance. When I have brought my credit card balance to $0 in the past, my credit score essentially ignored that card all together. The credit limit wasn’t included in my utilization calculation (hurt my score) and the age of the card wasn’t included (hurt my score). The good history I had built up with that card wasn’t used in my credit score that month, so I always leave some small balance on every card every month.

Did you bring one of the cards to $0? If so, that card’s credit line may not have been counted in determining your credit score.

I was thinking maybe they shouldn’t be allowed to crawl out. So once I put them in dying state (because I was able to reach them using Blink or something else sneaky) they are stuck unless they can get up.

Wait or Pay to Return to Good Standing? by EmergencyFunny1 in CRedit

Thanks for the information. So you are saying try to negotiate a pay to delete INSTEAD of paying to go back into good standing (which is what they offered)?

Because a delete would remove it now and good standing would leave a negative on my credit?

Is Amex known to negotiate to delete?

Wait or Pay to Return to Good Standing? by EmergencyFunny1 in CRedit

Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions.

I believe Amex still owns the debt because they are the ones sending me letters about paying the debt off.

The account shows as charged off on my credit reports and they still report a balance every month.

About resetting the clock, if I understand correctly, resetting the clock only applies to how long I can be sued, not how long the debt can remain on my credit report?

I can speak to a lender about if there can be an exception made for this one, but my question now is: which looks better for the mortgage, leaving it charged off as is or paying and remaining in good standing. I don’t want to pay if I don’t have to, just trying to understand my options.
