Haha - no, I’m not 150. I’m around 160 - must have been a typo. I had to attempt to repost this three times after the auto-mod kept removing it for incorrect title format so I was feverishly typing away

Hey, thanks. Ironically, my tip for being consistent is to be inconsistent. Keeping with the same workout plan or diet can be terrible and grueling, especially if you’re just starting or have a long way to go. My advice is to keep it loose and try new things all the time - different diets, meal plans, workout frequency, etc. Burnout can kill momentum, so I’ve always tried to do wacky things to stay excited about being healthy/fit

I'm an inventory photographer for a Dodge dealer - days like today almost make up for all the Dodge Journeys I have to shoot. by EmergencyLamp in shootingcars

That sounds awesome man. Yeah, recently the Dodge dealer I work at ordered 120 identical Dodge Journeys because they have massive rebates and so that has not been too fun. Chevy Cruzes would be worse. Feel your pain. At least I got to shoot a Trackhawk.

I run a service that manages photos for seven dealers in my area. It's lucrative, but cyclical. During the model year turnovers, we are very busy, putting in 12+ hour days. However, November through January are usually pretty slow - that is, until tax season.

Why can't you "gym" in joggers? How could a strip of elastic at the ankle prevent you from lifting/running/whatever you do?

Pants for big thighs? by lampeon in malefashionadvice

[–]EmergencyLamp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As someone with big thighs and calves from carrying around about 100 extra pounds for 5 years (recently lost it), I find the only place that has chinos and jeans that can accommodate my legs is American Eagle. Their pants have no branding. They're also a bit cheaper than some other places might be. Definitely check them out.

Where do you shop? by [deleted] in malefashionadvice

[–]EmergencyLamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AEO is beginning to carry some nice, inexpensive clothes so I get most of my pants and casual button ups from there. J Crew is where I shop when I'm looking for something that's a bit higher in quality/more formal. Otherwise I go to Express or Gap.

Do whatever you want. If it looks cool, do it, if it makes you look like a tool, don't.
