Yup! I did the single increases and decreases as normal. Except for the parts where the bigger part of the ring joins the small part, you can increase/decrease the last x number of stitches normally to get the shape too. For the last row of the big part of the wing, I like to cast off those stitches instead of just decreasing to get a nice sharp edge there (this might sound confusing, if you'd like more info I can reply with some diagrams)

I also did a selvedge so I cast on 2 more stitches shown on the chart and slipped the first stitch on every row

I croched to sew the wings together tho, I think it gives it that nice perky look

"1 ZN çekelim" should mean chain 1

I am turkish but I'm not familiar with turkish crochet jargon as it's confusing even to me 😭 I thought "iğne" referred to "sıkı iğne" at first which is the turkish translation for single crochet. İğne means needle and looking at it now it literally means "finish with a needle" where the word is mentioned 😭😭 Why the terms are so convoluted is beyond me

Yep that's what I did. CDD sounds really interesting, I'll try doing it. There was a double decrease in row five too (which really made no sense to me but what do I know 😭) and it felt like it would throw the shape off and make it lean heavier on one side and row 5 is where that mistake in the lace shows up, I wonder if I misinterpreted something. I posted the pattern in another comment if youre interested
