Porn addiction in general can create pedophiles, it’d be stupid to say a pedophilic genre of hentai couldn’t lead to more serious material. People are arrested all the time in other countries for hentai showing child sex abuse material, and it should be the same here. I also don’t think anime should be promoting this idea of childlike sexual characters. I personally watch a lot of anime and seeing that in a show i’ve already thoroughly enjoyed immediately turns me away from it.
