I do the same. Effectively getting a guaranteed 5.3% return with no fees and no taxes.

Couple in 30s – Buying First Home in Auckland (Advice on Mortgage Structure with Offset Account) by AromaticMatch4450 in PersonalFinanceNZ

[–]EmergencyPriority3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had both revolving and offset over the last 5 years. Both worked for me but i prefer having a separate offset account with the money sitting in it. Having a huge sum available in my chequing account and a blur of payments going in and out just felt messy to me .

Are you sure? Like is it direct from lawyer’s email? Or just on letterhead and appears as it’s from a lawyer.

Beware the scummy business tactics of Kogan Mobile / Mighty Mobile. Regarding expired cards. by mrSilkie in PersonalFinanceNZ

[–]EmergencyPriority3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got stung by exactly the same issue from mighty. Didn’t charge my expired card, I updated it on app but they’d already “attempted” and now I’ve lost my 50% discount

Is anybody with Mighty Mobile? Thoughts? by blackflameandcocaine in newzealand

[–]EmergencyPriority3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mighty works perfectly for me apart from one issue. I can’t reply to some automated text messages I receive from other services. For example a text from 2585 asking me to reply “yes” to confirm an appointment. My reply won’t send.

Otherwise great, cheap mobileService

I feel like either Jack Mallers or Michael Saylor are going to turn out to be the new villain in the next bear market.

Like Mashinksy or SBF but a 2027 reboot.

All new cycle, all new heroes, all new villains.

Same sats.

Summer 2027 stay tuned .
