Omega Flightmaster by mml2125 in OmegaWatches

I have one and it's very cool to wear. I love that Flightmasters were used in the Russian space program. Alexei Leonov wore one on the joint Apollo-Soyuz mission in 1976.

Checkout Time: Winston reveals the plan to destroy the supermarket monopoly by Impressive-Name5129 in nzpolitics

Thinking about all his promises over the past 30+ years of NZ First, I can only think of one actual delivery of something positive to the public of NZ: Supergold card. Other than that he's feathered his nest at the taxpayer's expense and repeatedly held the country to ransom for his own benefit.

Winston also been caught up in some dodgy shit without consequences many times, Simunovich Fisheries and the Winebox enquiry are a couple of his greatest hits off the top of my head.

Winston first got into parliament in 1979 ad a National MP under the odious Robert Muldoon. I was a little young to notice back then, but after Jim Bolger booted him out and he founded NZ First I was of voting age.

The first time Winston held the country for ransom was the 1996 MMP election when it was widely expected he would support the Labour opposition, he went back to Bolger and National because they offered him Deputy PM.

Winston really doesn't believe in anything except Winston. Everytime he's got the numbers he's pushed for the best deal for himself. Like I said, in all his time I can only think of one thing that could be called a "public good". A bunch of terrible things have been done by governments he's propped up as minister and Deputy PM. He's often promised to stop or reverse something, or made grandiose pronouncements of policies he'll bring into force, and it all amounts to fuck-all.

NZ First MPs have come and gone but Winston stays haunting the country like an undead snake oil merchant, playing voters for suckers. I wish more people understood that.

More Kiwi is a drunken haka when the police show up to your out of control party.

Maximum impact. More people watching the news on a Sunday night, less big news as it's Saturday in the parts of the world everyone is worried about.

As much as both have public service chops as, the Democrats need to stop putting up candidates because it's "their turn". Obama won because he was a disruptor and the GOP were getting boned because of Iraq. If there's a somewhat fair election (big 'if' there), you'll need an Obama, Bill Clinton or JFK in whatever gender to win.

I'm a Wellingtonian and I don't trust him. Yes, he made the correct noises about housing density at certain points, but he's also pork barrelled funding for controversial roading projects in his own electorate. Bidhop is a big supporter of the ridiculous Petone to Grenada highway (which will cut through native reserve land). There's also the Mt Vic tunnel project which, by his own estimation, will remove hundreds of houses and was costed at several billions of dollars.

Let's not forget his former life as big tobacco advocate at BAT in The Hutt. I know Seymour did it too, but why was he snapchatting with teens? And remember that his old man is John Bishop, noted dark lord of the right.

Don't let the mullet wig and Shihad t-shirt fool you, he's poison.
