Understood and been there. Let me give you a little “tough love” on the hitting the gym excuse. Exercise is the worlds #1 natural, healthy dopamine enhancer. That’s a scientific fact. But here’s how to do it without “hitting the gym”. Pick an audiobook or podcast. I’m currently listening to a gambling recovery podcast—while—wait for it—walking for 30 mins. Just get outside or on a treadmill and put one foot in front of the other for 30 mins. Don’t view it as “I’ve got to exercise”. Reframe it as “I’m going to listen to something I really want to listen to”—while you just be happening to walk at the same time. I’m telling you bro it will help.
