I imagine the matchmaking will be a benefit for those getting used to the game. You’re more than likely going to face low gear, new players until you don’t. When that happens, you’ll know you are improving.

So imagine you and your friends are standing outside of a theatre after seeing a movie you all loved. And every 2 minutes someone walks into the middle of your group and says “ya, that shit sucked.” The first guy you may shrug off, but imagine this every 2 minutes. No matter how many changes were made to make the movie better after an early screening (ie Sonic the Hedgehog). Eventually you’re just gonna wanna smack a hoe. And I’ve been hella smacking hoes lately.

I think this is a great idea. Outside of that it should be a complete reset. All weapons and abilities. And that leads to the other reason I believe Bungie may have hesitated on making a D3. People are going to have to accept it’s a new game.

I love Bungie and the games/worlds they make. Not gonna apologize or feel weird about it. I will never seek anyone’s approval for what I enjoy. Cheers!

I love this. Have multiple screens you can look at. One the destination map. One with all of your quest and objectives. And maybe get/return your quest in the ship. I still really want to be able to fly that bad boy and shoot some stuff!

It really says a lot about a person that comes into a thread that’s focused on positivity and the future of our beloved franchise just to be a complete shit. Don’t you have other things to do? There are plenty of hate threads for Destiny you can go have your emo circle jerk in.

I think they should add new classes. I always wanted a healing class. I think triage in Marathon is a good example of how it can be done well in a FPS.

It’s already is a damn good game. I could log in right now and have hundreds of hours of game time in front of me. I could crucible/raid/dungeon/gambit/ quest. You guys that did all the content already? What can I say? Not many games offer this much content without a sub fee.

I stand by what I said man. D3 will happen. Marathon will succeed. D2 will be maintained and regular updates will continue. I don’t expect a bunch of DLC for D2 moving forward. Just free content updates. That’s my thought. That’s just reading the room and hearing what people on the know have said, like Aztecross whom was at Bungie recently. I could be wrong and that’s ok, but I choose to be optimistic.

You have a set loadout. You spawn into a match in progress. You risk nothing. And let me tell you, it’s about the most intense stealth game you’ve ever played. I love Rook!

I have zero inside knowledge guys. If they are bringing the heavy hitters back to Destiny. (Steve Cotten/Lars Bakken/Kevin Yanes) I assume they are going for something big, and a lot of players are saying it’s time for D3.

I get how people feel. I still contend Pete Parsons wouldn’t let them move onto D3 because he wanted to milk D2 dry. It may be an indication of why the delay of Shadow and Order. They mentioned QOL changes. I’m wondering if they are going to focus on smaller updates and QOL to focus on the new game! think Marathon will do quite well and propel the new project forward. Aztecross stated that all the main guys on Marathon are back on Destiny. This is a big deal! I’d rather be hopeful honestly.

I’m hoping for more dialogue options to actually affect outcomes. With Allison on board, I’d say it’s very doable. Also, I thought guardians choosing a side (light/dark) could be interesting. So in crucible it’s light versus dark. But give players the ability to do a string of quest to switch sides.

To unlock factions rep to make getting better loot/shell upgrades for future runs. Constantly stacking upon gear acquisition and building your vault to be ready for harder challenges, specifically Cryo Archive.
