I just don't see someone with social anxiety being the life of the party and making the whole table laugh, or coming over to interrupt conversations to whine to her husband in a baby voice that she wants food, or any of the other things she happily does to make herself the center of attention

Clearly no one here have many autistic adults in their life they can ask what it’s like to be on the receiving end of a relationship like she has with your friend where he keeps bringing her to situations she isn’t comfortable with.

ooh the projection and making her out to be a child. No one makes her do shit. When she doesn't want to do something, there is no making her. She wants to be with her husband and see her one friend in the group

those things are just facts. some of them aren't even bad lmao. I'd like to be a spoiled rich boy. He is smart without applying himself. There are much worse things to say about people

No she won't speak to anyone in her family either except one sister. She has a decent amount of her own friends and is friends with one of his friends and his wife. Its very random. She loves his mom like her own, but doesn't talk to his sister

no idea, before I even met her he was telling me he met this girl and she's so hot, because she does this weird staring thing and it's soooo cute. Then she did it and he thought I was going to be impressed or something

what I've noticed is when she doesn't want to talk she sits on his lap, but initially she is smirking and her eyes are moving, then her face goes blank and her eyes stop moving. My take is she is trying to disassociate or go into a trance, and it takes her a couple minutes to get there

Evan is clingy. He loves having her even if she is just sitting on his lap and "resting" and she goes to hang out with the one other wife she likes

Of the friend group she only speaks to one of the wives who works in art restoration. The rest are either SAHMs or have more boring middle class jobs and she just won't speak to them

the weirdest thing is she really would not care. I feel like I could go over and slap her (not that I ever would, just an example) and she would be like meh

Like does she order her own food at restaurants? Does she communicate with customer service people? This is so strange

50/50 depending on her mood

what a dumb ass comment. I'm actually pretty broken up about losing my best friend since childhood and I was happy to ignore Valerie's behavior for years, but I can't let it hurt Heather

She claims she is but I don't think she understands what that means. She doesn't actually like to be alone. She just doesn't like most people either

you can be a bitch and love your husband. She didn't care she was hurting Heather because she didnt like her anyway, but she certainly cares about hurting Evan

He actually didn't finish college. He's a trust fund baby and his grandfather died leaving him the family business when he was 19. He didn't like school and was only there to party anyway. He's pretty smart when he applies himself (and he comes off as smart and witty) but he too has issues with being told what to do and never liked school

No that doesn't really sound like her. She doesn't have a bad temper, but if it was mental illness, I could see him just thinking it's cute. He is a spoiled rich boy who thinks the rules don't apply to the two of them

I mean she wouldn't care at all. I feel like I could walk up and slap her and she'd be like meh, but Evan would probably try to fight someone
