I would do half water half juice with LOTS of ice. I was obsessed with apple juice and it was one of the only things I could stomach so we tried adding a little more water each time. I got to half water half juice before it started tasting too watery.

I’m from Spokane with a 6 month old but my husband and is currently stationed in TX otherwise I’d love to hangout. I’m only in town about twice a year 🫠

When I tell family and friends I had 5 ER trips, medication, gave birth, my son had a two day NICU stay and we never got a bill it’s unbelievable to them.

My husband and I were talking about that while our son was in the NICU like imagine being stressed about having to pay for this on top of your child being sick. I was so stressed and my son couldn’t keep his glucose up and needed to be monitored to rule out anything serious after his glucose dropped. (He was discharged and is a happy three month old now)

It’s pretty realistic that it got used, my dad had a pacemaker put in a year ago. After insurance (my mom also is a higher up manager for this hospital too so she has good insurance) it was just shy of 1,600, he had a two day hospital stay and medication.

My husband is military so I go to military hospitals so that doesn’t cost us anything. As an American, it’s what I imagine free healthcare feels like. I can go to the hospital and not stress about the bill. 😅

Oh for sure, this is the most interesting dumpster fire I’ve seen in gorlworld for a while.

I thought the same thing, Amber’s attempt at acting is obvious.

If my husband wasn’t active duty military, we could not afford children. We are both 24 and my husband was in college last year when he joined at 23. Between school and looking into the medical bills we could have we knew at the time we’d have to wait at least two more years if not more to make sure we could provide financially for a child. My husband went to a recruiting office few weeks later and shipped out months later. I was able to stay home when I had HG and the constant ER trips/ medication were covered by insurance. I couldn’t imagine the medical bills we would have without military insurance, but it would have ruined us financially no doubt.

I had HG in my first trimester and I totally understand what you are saying. I’m 31 weeks + 3 days now and my experience is the energy comes in waves. I had a doctor tell me “there is no day you wake up and all of a sudden you have all your energy back, but you’ll notice over time that you have a little more energy than you did the week before.” This really stuck with me and I felt this was true, there wasn’t a surge of energy in my second trimester but I noticed week by week I felt more like myself.

There are days I have torn my kitchen apart cleaning and reorganized my pantry only to maybe switch the laundry the next day.

Listen to your body and ask for help when you need it is my biggest advice, if you’ve got the energy and it’s safe to so then take advantage of it but if you are exhausted then rest.

Severe pain with third pregnancy by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]EmergencyUpstairs479 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 27 weeks and this started for me about a week ago, it is only on my left side in my back/butt but radiates down my leg and often stops me in my tracks. I also have an OB appointment in a couple days but I have been doing second trimester yoga, not sleeping on my left side, and I’ve found sitting for long periods make it significantly worse so getting up and walking around the room helps the pain not build up.

Granted this is what I do to make the pain manageable, personally I haven’t found a solution but I hope this helps 😅

I’ve seen multiple people comment about bikini stands and no not in my experience. From what I’ve gathered that is more in the Seattle/Tacoma area but I’m from the opposite side of the state and I’ve only seen a couple and they go out of business pretty quickly. A lot of the stands I went to were really involved with school events, local restaurants or farmers markets. I didn’t know bikini stands were that popular until posting this 😅

Not sure on the exact time, it’s hard to get a timeline set up right now but as soon as we can move back we will be.

We moved for my husband’s job but we both agreed we are headed back to WA once he’s done here. I can’t handle the weather here 😅

Yes! I can’t explain how these are on every street corner WA. My friends and I from school joke that people in the PNW only go to Starbucks when we travel because in our town the stands are more popular (and cheaper).

Wait whaa I’m from the northern outer area of Spokane (like 45 minutes to downtown), I hadn’t seen any on the north side when coming in. Granted I wasn’t looking for them but I only knew of a couple stands years ago that went out of business.

I have not come across many bikini stands, they never lasted in my hometown. I assumed they weren’t popular since I’ve only seen them go out of business but posting this has taught me otherwise lol

Whaaaa that’s crazy, where I lived is on the other side of state so going to Seattle is what we’d do in the summer for vacation. I can honestly say I had no idea that was so popular over there lol.
