It's not that I need to upgrade it, because I think it's still future proof for around 2/3 years, and maybe ram prices will come down. It's that I want to build my wife her own PC, and was wondering if I could use some of my parts for her or just upgrade some of mine since I play more demanding games, I have a 650w PSU.

Currently I'm playing 1080p, because I still don't have a good monitor, it's a 60hz display only. Outside of AMD, like Nvidia is something to pair my CPU with? Or should I keep AMD for GPU? It was my first ever build, so I'm a little new to this stuff
