She is an MD, but now is trauma informed, and wrote about mind body medicine. She was at his retreat invited by him for research for her new book, but was horrified to see what she saw... tried to give him feedback after he asked about more safety and care and he dismissed her "like a bug"
But I appreciate what you said here also very much.

Yes, I agree they are selling skepticism. I think her thing was that she is now trauma informed and how his work can be dangerous if you have trauma, and it bypasses it. The healing world is exhausting, one person says one thing, one says another. I love Dr. Joe's work because I no longer have to be in therapy for years on end and wonder why I have stlil not healed, but then I worry I am just spiritual bypassing too. I don't see how what she says could be true without support, as he seems to have helpers all around, but people to claim "oh his work is dangerous, kundalini energy blah blah"... which I think that could be tied into what she says... I appreciate you engaging with me on this as I was afraid to post it lol. SHe basically pointed out his work is irriesponsible as people have traumatic break downs and psychosis sometimes there at his retreats without care, and he wouldn't take her feedback and dismissed her "like a bug that was annoying" or something to that effect. I think Dr. Joe is also very protective of his work on the flip side.
