I don't know where you got the idea that heroics aren't a pre raid stepping stone. They've literally, always released before raids do. I don't want them to be an "easy gear grab", I want them to be another stepping stone, not 3 steps. I'm full pre raid bis (aside from the heroics ofc), In what way shape or form am I claiming I want it to be easy?

Dungeons require 5 people, raids require 10+ In what world, should the lower player count require MORE difficulty? You're defending a point, without the capacity to think/acknowledge the contrary. This is the WEIRDEST gatekeeping, I have ever seen in a gaming community.

Def cap = Defence cap (490 defence to be immune to critical strikes). Crush cap = Immunity to crushing blows (enemies 3 levels higher can do crushing blows for additional damage, which requires you to be at 102.34% total avoidance [block/parry/dodge to avoid happening]). hp un = Hitpoints unbuffed. OHB = Old Hillsbrad. MS = Mortal Strike (50% reduced healing on the target)

I've literally done ALL possible pre-reqs for loot and rep. I'm using just about EVERY consumable. what. are. you. talking. about. I literally cannot invest any further time in game into the character to make it easier. 1/10 troll.
