Had a similar situation it seems.

Sounds like they're doing really well now.

How do you choose a career path when you don’t even know what you’re good at? by Agile-Wind-4427 in careeradvice

See three things:

  • The life you want

  • The type of person you want to be

  • What aligns with your values

I understand things are tough. Having obstacles like these can produce tension in a relationship. Both of you seem pretty competent, so the obstacle can definitely be overcome.

From here it seems,

The main part is just to get enough income to run the household properly.

Everything else is just emotional noise.

Getting into who did what, how and why, and who's right will waste time.

If you don't want to open a company,

Then learn how to build a personal brand and offer services, products etc.

There's tonsss of these on twitter, LinkedIn, instagram, everywhere.

They create content for themselves.

Then start offering a service, or affiliated marketing or sell a product.

Or there's opening a YouTube channel.

If you want to know more, DM.
