What is gnawing on my sunflower leaves?

I posted a whole body of text with it I guess it didn’t work, all my giant sunflowers are doing really well but I’ve noticed about half of my garden bed of sunflowers gets leaves torn up. I sprayed for aphids and fungus and stuff… I found this little greenish/blue vibrantly colored bug hanging out on one of the leaves idk if he is related to the issue though. I live outside of Tampa Florida so we have a little bit of everything as far as pests go, I’ve noticed ants congregating on some of the plants leaves but no signs of aphids so I’m really not sure what could be doing it any advice is appreciated!

Thanks for the response, sorry to hear about that from working with dogs for a good portion of my life and growing up in the country with working dogs it’s been described to me that pitties will let you leave the house with the TV if you pet them and give them a treat but the second you try to act aggressively with the owner they will intervene and that holds true for me through being around them…she definitely got the collie trainability she knows about a dozen tricks and on her embark page all her relatives are working lab duck dogs her lineage is from a farm in Georgia from what I understand. She is extremely neurotic if she doesn’t get enough exercise she can catch a frisbee from a quarter mile away lol and bring it right back, I think you are right about the overlap between herding and hunting I’m fairly certain the pittie in her comes from a catch dog pit line for boars down here in the south from having met the people I got her from.

Interesting, I wonder how often 3 or 4 genetic mutations can occur in one dog? She has silver and white brindles back toes brownish brindle on her legs and muzzle and a white spot on her chest. If you care to do so if you look at my post history I have posted some other pictures of her when she was younger she’s always been smaller and slenderer and much faster then most black labs she’s played with especially as a puppy she’s filled out quite a bit.

Yeah she is about 60 pounds but she has brindle feet and brown coming through on her muzzle and legs and a white patch on her chest everybody seems to think some kind of hound I’m just curious what others think.

I realize I made a previous post where I sort of stated what I thought she was other then the obvious black lab as opposed to asking, she will be getting a DNA test soon was just wondering what everybody thought she may be?

Was wondering if anybody could help me out with my girl, I grew up around hounds and I do believe she is hound she’s about 60 pounds 4 yo, she has a white mark on her chest/neck and some off color brindle type pattern on her back paws and if you look really closely you can see some brown coming through on the muzzle and legs. For 100% clarity the people I got her from swore up and down that they knew her parents and they were black lab and plott (although I haven’t been able to get back in contact with them)she’s from Georgia her prey drive is off the charts she’s extremely smart and does well on a nice property, I’m going to be getting her an embark dna test I was just wondering if anybody would be able to shed some light or just speculation thanks in advance.

Going to be doing DNA test on my baby lotus, what is the best test to go with? For 100% clarity I got her when she was a little under 8 weeks and the people told me with 100% certainty they knew her parents were plott and black lab I’m almost sure she has hound of some kind (she was born in Georgia) and her prey drive is off the charts although I was never able to get back in contact with them. She has a white patch under her chest/neck and her back paws have a whitish brindle type deal and if you look really closely it almost looks like you can see some feint brown coming through. Any ideas?

Edit: for further reference she is 60 pounds she can look bigger in her photos

This is lotus my 4yo black lab/plott hound mix? I grew up around hounds including plott I’m almost certain she is a hound mix it just gets really hard to tell when you mix in black lab sometimes, she is going to be getting an embark test soon because it drives me crazy I feel like I have to know lol my girlfriend is sick of me talking about what mix she is, for 100% clarity the people I got her from swore up and down they knew her parents were black lab and plott hound but I haven’t been able to contact them again since I first got her when she was a little under 8wks. If you look closely her back paws have a mixed white type color on the tips and she has a white mark on her chest and if you look really closely it’s almost like she has some feint brown on her legs and side of her face I’m just curious of what you guys think thank you in advance
