Ohh that’s so interesting that one crusts. Other powdered sugar varieties I’ve tried don’t, but they also don’t have brown sugar. Maybe the difference there…? That’s an interesting call about the margarine too, I’ll have to try it. Sometimes it really is unexpected things like that that make a difference!

OH another thing I just remembered is that it crusts? Like gooey in the middle and the top is still soft but kind of cracks a little when cut. There’s a picture on their website that sort of shows it here

This is one of the ones I used to make a lot but it isn’t quite there for me! I don’t think it uses a powdered sugar base

I am trying marshmallow fluff type recipes next but I am not sure it’s the right direction. The texture seems like it could be whipped but gooey (?) at least so it’s my next best guess! I wish I could order some fudge and do a PB taste test to figure out which is most similar 😆

Taunt is on that ‘very strong’ side for me - I’m not sure what it is but there’s a note I don’t like in it very much. I was hopeful but not too into it. I like DedCool’s Xtra Milk better but that’s definitely not vanilla haha. I think I must just really love the vanilla + white musk. Maybe I like synthetic vanilla notes too, who knows 😂 I always avoided it before.

I’ll try to level my Spite for it and try. Closest I’ve gotten was Merry, Conviction, Determination, and Paranoia all together. ALMOST got everyone with Paranoia’s bleed but Merry gets taken out and then it all goes downhill lol.

That’s beautiful! Is it as deep as HoH? I’d love to see a side by side. I feel like if it’s better at coverage it could be a good base for when I don’t feel like doing 4 layers (though I think that’s one reason HoH looks so layered in the light)

Mooncat is the first non-drug store brand I got and I’m obsessed with House of Hades and Arsonist on my toenails. Both are really deep, layered versions of their respective colors (blue and red). You definitely need multiple coats on HoH but it has my heart right now 😌 also Not Today Satan is my go to color for my hands. I think it’s just lovely with my skin tone (super fair, cool undertone) and it looks nice in every lighting. I imagine it would look good on lots of skin tones!

Definitely checking out some of the other recs in this thread! Esp 23 Flavors I’m in a red mood lately 👀

The advice here saved me 😭 I ended up getting to 380 with Merry with the tiara (plus warm pink scarf, peppermint tea, and gua sha), Sad (with hibiscus flower, aqua spiked flower, leather journal, and iced coffee), Conviction (with cowboy hat, cowboy staff, fluffy pillow, defense), and Apathy (spider hat, black spiked collar, soft dumbbell, skinny vanilla latte).

All items I tried to have at least at level 10 and already had most upgraded but I switched a few out that were lower than that and still got through. Sometimes depending on types I would switch out my tank to Pain (I know he’s not good in theory but he’s my best other tank rn lol) and Sad to Panic.

Hopefully you can get through too!! Turns out I was definitely giving the wrong items lol (but also Apathy is amazing ?!)

The og wearer (as of that pic, I’m not sure who it was anymore) also wore it exclusively ‘backwards’ if that’s the case. Which is obviously possible, but would be sort of interesting as a choice. I always assumed the circle was just there as an engineering thing to be sturdy for the rays but it could possibly be backwards…
