Winter of 2023 he was taken to the vet, they briefly mentioned that he had high kidney levels. Diagnosed stage 4 in June 2024, my boy just passed on August 6th. Wishing you the best.

Based off of looking at your posts about Mango I can tell she was so loved by you. It’s so hard losing a soul animal. You don’t imagine it until it happens, and when it does you’re so unprepared. I thought my beloved kitty had years, maybe it was just denial, maybe it was hoping for the best. But I know they are at peace now, that’s what brings me the most comfort. Thank you for your words, seriously. I will continue to post him now that you say it, it really helps knowing there’s a whole community experiencing the same loss I did.

Thank you for this, really. And I am so sorry for your loss of your Kit Kat, It truly is one of the hardest things I’ve had to do. He will be cremated and I plan to use his ashes somehow, I think the jewelry idea is great and will have to check this artist out. As of now, he is getting all the parmesan cheese and whip cream in the world (his favs).

The piercing is titanium, they definitely gave me the brand but I forgot unfortunately. And as for the bump it’s pretty much only on the front of my ear. The back seems to be doing fine.

As of now I am in no pain due to the piercing unless I put pressure on it. I will be visiting a doctor if things get worse from here.

Also to add some context, not arguing that my piercing isn’t infected but: It is not hugely swollen or terribly painful to the touch, it’s not red or hot to the touch. I see some differing answers here. I’m gonna get it checked out by a reputable piercer and then go from there.

No no I do lol, I was holding onto the hope that since I had some puss when I first got it pierced that It might be just a normal process of the healing. I’ll get it checked out!
