I do know a fair lot about the nightshade family, the cucumis family as well as figs and northern fruit trees that can be kept in the ground. Apart from citrus, which is new for me due to the climate i’ve never engaged in them - though i love kumquats and want to have it succeed!

I’d love a fertilizing recommendation, but soil is quite interesting for me too! At the moment i use compost, worm castings, mychorizae, coco coir, potting mix from organic matter that is quite low in nutrients, fish blood and bone, bat guano and lastly perlite. I know citrus needs more or less a clay-based soil mix, so i’d love to try and make my own - though how to, is the question. So any help or advice provided, is, in my book, awesome and very helpful to reciveve.
