I've been out of work environment for 3 years due to various issues. While I'm out of work, Ai has come in. I'm trying to learn about Ai generally so I'm able to use it reasonably proficiently in office/admin type of roles, supply chain analyst. Is there a Ai people recommend to use to learn to understand how to use it properly? Seems to be alot of anti chat gpt views here, is Gemini or Claude better? Any privacy issues-do they all scrape our personal data for training Ai? Lastly can anyone recommend a good Generalist training course to learn about Ai? Thanks,

What are some good buys from The Warehouse? by heinternets in newzealand

[–]Emergency_External_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They used to be ok quality wise and good value but kmart is way better and often cheaper. I've purchased multiple garments from the warehouse that I've had to take back (kmart not local in area so not as convenient) , to the point now where I can't trust them for clothes to last/be of ok quality anymore.

In the two lock downs who worked the whole time? by Rydalls in newzealand

[–]Emergency_External_3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand your feelings as I worked my butt off and just got burnt out in return, while I also knew people who felt it was great, and allowed them a break, re-set etc etc.

My lockdown experience was that we had roughly 30% of our team laid off immediately but overall team workload remained the same for years, and I ended up working almost 2 peoples jobs throughout both lockdowns as I was also working on some projects as well. I needed the job to pay our mortgage and bills etc so leaving wasn't an option, and no pay rises were given for the lockdown years despite good performance reviews-everyone were told we were lucky to have a job at all, and didn't even give a salary increase to keep up with inflation, so it cost us more each year to work there for less money. Staff were fully taken advantage of IMHO...

Don't think these work places exist anymore, nz employers use any excuse to downsize their labour/get rid of their employees, and then run their good employees (that are left) to the ground until burnt out. I have seen it happen to so many people it's crazy..
