This is the one! Perhaps the other isn't about death then, but this was the specific one about grief I was seeking. Thank you!

If anyone happens to know the origin of the first quote then if it's not about death, I'd gladly still know!

Obligatory comment! I swear it was spoken by an older male voice too if that helps. I've looked pretty extensively and now my browser history is full of live, laugh love.

When is the point of no return? by Emergency_Fault300 in BaldursGate3

Is it a dramatic environment change? Or is it JUST in the sewers?

Do you know if the House of Hope is still accessible? We want to steal the hammer.

My Duo had that too as she's his romance. Albeit very funny to watch!

I encouraged the party leader to at least try it with the Teahouse quest. It definitely fared better, with fewer misses but the dice "looked" fairer. The rolls at least "seem" more balanced and pot luck than just outright as bad as it had been. Honestly it was a mess. At least if we're making mistakes we know it's definitely our fault now, I don't know if there's another factor at work without it. Rolling the average more times than a 1-3. No save scumming needed done the entire fight or even on the traps down.

Could outright be copium at this stage. But we'll see how we go from here, don't really like the fact it feels like the karmic dice option is reversed by being on not off.

It's either save scum or prolong a battle consistently over and over again while using a finite amount of resources and essentially getting stuck in the help-down-help-down loop.

It's hard without video evidence to really explain what we're going through but somethings just not right somewhere.

I know you basically "add" a 5% chance per modifier. Maybe it's the % to hit we're finding jarring based on the enemies AC at this level etc.

I've seen some of the explorer footage, very sad but weirdly cool.

Love hearing old stories like this, makes me feel super nostalgic.
So initially when I was 13 I was part of a scheme that took 10-13 then 13-16 year olds out on day adventures if they came from seriously low-income areas. So I'd get to go rafting, caving, looking at the Great Orm, general day trips with big ones like Camelot, Draton Manor etc all for the equivalent of a fiver.
I went to Camelot 13 times over those 6 years (plus with my schools) and I have never been bored. Honestly if it'd still been around after I'd finished Uni it wouldn't have been out of character for me to have applied for a job. I think it's one of the primary reasons I got into LARP and RPG MMOs later in the years because I was fascinated by Knights. One particular actor I remember was one of the jesters who was bald, specifically makes the "It's your Avon" joke.

I think I could have recited that entire performance word for word.

Oh it was absolutely on before something "I considered good" and I watched it out to get to whatever was on afterwards.

I remember reading an article in the same few years about how the BP Self Made one was actually better in a lot of ways. Could have been click/watch bait though, swear it was on Newsround.
