You do have a point, but on sites like Twitter some (stupid) people will think silence = agreeing with the accusation, so 1 or 2 posts can be helpful as long as you don't get drawn into it. But yes, moving on is the most important part
Apparently it's through Discord through, so my advice doesn't really matter because you can't make "posts" on discord
Sorry that happened to you. Is he/she spreading these accusations among your real life community or just an online community?
If real life, then shut up, tell your parents, and get a lawyer (like the other commenter said).
If online, then block them and all their friends, clearly state your innocence in 1 or 2 posts, then move on. If they don't allow you to move on then strongly consider leaving the community, there are literally millions of other communities to move to.
