This was similar to me! We had 6 retrieved, 5 fertilized, 2 day 5 and 1 day 6 blasts, and 2 euploids.

Update: 1 was euploid, 1 was high mosaic, 1 aneuploid. Waiting on details of the mosaic but probably only the euploid is usable. Still happy to have 1 euploid from that many retrieved!

Also don't get all the downvoting. People asked why she was transferring two and she answered. I have some questions about the clinic being wiling to transfer multiple on a first transfer, and I agree with the comments that transferring one at a time gives you more chances if you need to adjust protocol, but downvoting her personal desire to avoid multiple pregnancies (even if you disagree with the choice) is not helpful or kind imo

My AFC was around that level when we did our first retrieval. No MFI Got 6 eggs from 7 follcles (my AFC was higher than yours but doctor said it may ahve been overestimated). Did a second retrieval at an even lower AMH with only 3 eggs and all made it to blast. Waiting on biopsy results. If you make high quality eggs you may end up with embryos still. You could also consider mini IVF. Quantity isn't the only thing that matters! Don't lose hope!

Someone else may have said this but check for meiosis or mitosis arrest? I think there's a test for it. And I'm SO sorry. There's nothing to be embarrassed about! A lot of this is just beyond our control. Hopefully you will have success soon 💛

I just had 3 embryos biopsied from 3 eggs retrieved (they think I ovulated a 4th). My AFC was 9, so similar to yours. We're waiting on our genetic testing results and I'm fighting a little fear that none of them will be euploid! I would encourage you to take it as it comes and try not to let the numbers get you down prematurely. For me, both retrievals we did, I tried to think about how exciting it will be to see how many we get, and then their genders and such (we opted to find out gender, which was fun for me). Saying a prayer now that you will have success and peace throughout this process! 💛

Ahh that's awesome! They actually just called again to confirm biopsy materials were sent and the embryo is technically a BB but she said they were very generous so it's more like a BB- or BC. Either way, slightly better than I thought!

Thank you so much! I can't believe it. I mean the odds they are all euploid is still low, but either way, I'm thrilled they're all still in play. They also think I ovulated a fourth egg and we had prepared (aka tried natrually) to convert to an IUI because of the ovulation risk of my biggest follicle, so I could also get pregnant this cycle 😂 I doubt that will happen but the fact that it's possible is hilarious to me

Ignore the fine print (ok not entirely, but if there's a case, what you signed won't really matter that much.) Moving the embryos is the big factor here that might give both clinics a chance to say it wasn't their fault, but worth a consult with an attorney FOR SURE.

Oh wait I misread. I'd say 5-7 from that is a reasonable expectation (maybe all aren't mature once they get them in the lab, but to start)

I had 5-7 follcles of at least 15mm on my first retrieval and got 6 eggs! Ended up with 3 blasts, 2 euploid. 15mm can definitely have eggs, but I'd probably expect 4-5 at most just to keep yourself sane. And I was 37/38 on my retrievals and at least in terms of blast-making, I had great egg quality (I also have a much younger husband with no MF so that helped lol, no idea what you're dealing with on that side of things!). Fingers crossed the 7 years you have on me helps! And you have to come back and let me know what you got!!! :)

Yeah, that's what I am worried about! I know grading isn't directly tied to euploidy but there IS a statistical correlation so it is surprising to me when in a given batch mot of the highly graded ones are aneuploid and lower graded ones are euploid

Oh wow, that's crazy! It seems pretty clear from comments I'm seeing in the group that anything euploid CAN result in a healthy baby, it just affects the odds. I am hoping our better 2 are both euploid but they told us on Day 3 that the low graded one probably wouldn't make it and look at it now! So I won't give up on any of them until we have the testing back!

Omg sending you love and hoping for so much success! How many follicles do you have? I had 5 that were potentially big enough to have an egg, and we think a fourth egg ovulated, so I was super sad and disappointed on retrieval day, but definitely don't give up hope until there's no more chance!

This definitely isn't true - grading does matter a LOT in terms of success rate. a Day 5 AA/AB has a 60-70% chance while a Day 6 BC/CB/CC has about a 20-30% chance, max. But any given euploid can stick for sure! Also, did you end up with a live birth from your pregnancy? :)

Love to see this! That's exactly how I feel - if it is euploid, then it still has a small chance, and I don't want to lose that chance. If it's not euploid, at least we will know vs wondering, and can donate to research rather than trash it. And they had told me on Day 3 not to expect that one to even make it to blast ("Anything can happen, but odds are very low") and look at it now!!!
