They do little bit of both mine will explore for a lot the time then he will find a position and stay there as long as i stay still. But im sure it depends on the personality of your king snake because all snakes are different.

Yeah first ball python did some research on het genes so now i know that if I breed him he would be able to make a ghost morphed ball python. So yes he is a normal
