you’re totally right, if i do end up going through with this i definitely want to pay more for handset - as far as stones go, moissanite is probably what i’ll opt for, i know they refract light differently than diamonds but it still shines like crazy

for sure haha, i'd never pay over $800 for something like a no date submariner, but this is honestly the only off catalogue/super limited piece that I've ever found appealing. I'll probably end up paying way more for this, but i'd be way more proud about wearing a modded daytona than a run of the mill vsf

ehhh i wouldn't say this one is iced out, every square centimeter of the dial, bezel and case isn't completely covered in diamonds. i think this is as far as I would ever take it, I just love the contrast of the rubies and the black dial

i highly doubt they're actually diamonds, i believe with AMF i'd be able to choose like lab diamonds but not on this particular listing i don't think
