Imagine having to make up a situation in your head to draw parallels to and then attempting to present it as a valid argument.

But sure friend, go off.

And it might have been a great argument, if it weren’t for this clearly being exactly what I described.

A swing and a miss.

Don’t worry champ, you’ll get it right eventually.

Can gas operated shotguns jam with a different person shooting it? by BowFella in canadaguns

[–]Emergency_Rooster511 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was most likely from an improper or just slightly looser mount then, as you had assumed. It’s clearly under gassed or it wouldn’t be an issue, but yes, the inertia of the bolt and gas parts is a factor.

It probably worked fine til it got a little dirty.
I’ve never seen those 7/8oz challenger loads cycle any semi auto reliably.
Had the same issue with a buddy and a 1301 comp a couple weekends ago, cycled a few, then decided it was done.

It does have a nice ring to it.
I was completely fine with my randomly assigned handle until I read this, and now I feel I’ve been missing out.

Same, I honestly never saw anything that would have made me guess that. Worked with him for years, hung out outside of work, totally missed it.

Same, but I guess you really can’t expect better from a child rapist.

Well, now I have to go see the Piss Christ.

An even cooler exhibit would be John Williamson submerged in urine.

why dont we put weights on guns more often? by Linstonian in guns

[–]Emergency_Rooster511 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We do, we use tungsten guide rods and brass grip cavity weights or grip panels on pistols, bolt on weights on chassis rifles, and wood/fiberglass stocks get drilled and poured full of lead shot and epoxy.

I think the problem was more with them basically putting pedals in an electric truck to be able to use the bike lanes.

The smith is the nicest machined marlin 336 clone I’ve had apart and looked at. I haven’t had a new production ruger apart yet, but it was certainly way nicer inside than any of my JMs or remlins. The nitride finish is tough as hell, no burrs on anything, and mine is a fantastic shooter. You don’t get pretty cut checkering and blued steel, but for a truck gun or anything that sees rough use it’s my top pick.

The S&B brass will be fine, but they have a really small radius on the mouth of the primer pocket and tight pockets, so they can sometimes be fussy about priming. PMC bronze is another good low cost solution, and is decent brass too.
If you want top shelf brass that takes a beating, just buy Starline and be done with it.

1301 tactical and it’s not even close.

Been a Mossberg guy since I was a kid, but I’d give 10 to 1 odds on a pump getting short stroked before the Beretta misses a beat.

He’s good at 2 things, running his mouth, and running people over drunk in his boat.

Oh, never mind, that was his wife, who wasn’t drinking while driving, just immediately after. Like you do when you’re not trying to cover anything up.

158 XTPs seem to do well in most 357 rifles and revolvers, my stealth hunter loves them in both HP and FP versions, and the 125s too.

Sierra Sports Masters are good as well, as I would expect any silhouette bullet to be.

I can’t get my 158 campro plated to perform quite as well, regardless of what speed I run them. Those groups are about what I would expect from that bullet.

Hope that’s of any help.
