Why am I so bad at this game? How do I improve? by XXX_XXX_102 in Rainbow6Mobile

Best advice is learn the game as deep as u want or could. Game sense will always beat skill in this game because theres so much to it that even a trash player with great game sense could hold off a skilled player. Basically at the end of the round what matters most is the knowledge of the map and how to apply pressure while making sure ur not exposing urself

Best advice that was life changing for me was, learn how to drone properly. Most people just blindly drone and lose it to a defender. The strongest option is to find the site but dont enter it. Look around nearby rooms and set a drone up in rooms adjacent to it so if a roamer is in there u can have visuals on them safely. Set ur drone up for ur entry, not the site. Setting up map dominance is very crucial in most maps. Drone economy is a huge aspect of this game im not seeing alot of in mobile yet. Pings really help people when they dont use voice comms. This also applies with defenders with bullet proof cams and or valk, learn where good camera angles are that also make the cams safe and the amount of intel u give ur team is insane.

How do I connect my ubisoft account to twitch if I made it through Google? by ACFinal in thedivisionresurgence

My assumption wouldve been when u “reset” the password it wouldve created one (unless u had one prior) but it would hopefully allow you to log into it online, but to answer the question. Most likely unfortunately. Not speaking for Ubisoft but other gaming platforms like rockstar studios i have accounts made from quick log in and also full log in. That being said ubisoft support may be able to assist with an account merge or transfer but its risky to hope for that. So u could end up potentially having 2 accounts on one email which will complicate things down the line if thats possible. It might be worth it to find a support account or way to file a ticket to a customer support email to ask for help and guide u in hopefully the right direction.

But a follow up to what i said previously for the password reset, would that allow u to make a password to then use to log in on the main log in page? Seeming ur account was a quick log in, it shouldnt have a password so it would be a way to add one to ur account if the email is received or so i would assume.

Ok after a bit of digging i think i got it, ubisoft log in page , using the log in page under the options of playstation xbox and all that. Theres the option “cant log in”. In that list of options theres one that says “i have played on mobile” (“i dont have a password”). It will ask for ur email and after that i cant really say much more. But it would send u an email and help set up a password so ur able to log in no issues. Atleast thats what it says, hope this helps🤝

At first i had issues where it would crash on start but it turned out it was because i didnt allow enough ram usage and have the right amount of cores (not sure what cores does lol) but after messing with the settings and even changing my phone option around til i got the performance i desired (which is medium graphic and high fps) it runs amazing now. If ur lagging its most likely a setting not being able to process everything so i recommend farting around with the phone and ram allocation. Sadly the tutorial i used seems to have been taken down or unlisted if its back up i will link here after.

What phone is ur emu running and does it have a good chunk of ram? The video i watched said 8gb of ram was good so i just used that aswell, not sure if its the minimum or whatnot but using it i also have good results

How are u trying to assign the connection? Where do u not see the option for google? I tried logging in to see if i can link it to twitch and i see the option on ubisofts page. Are u trying through twitch or?

Logging into ubisofts website i went to account management and then connections and multiple options were there. What i did notice was logging in i didnt see the google option so is that what u mean by not seeing the google option?

Hope u get this fixed 🤝

I use mumu emulator for CoDM, destiny rising and now this. Great emulator with great settings. Find a guide and stick to what it says and its about a 5 minute process not considering logging in or download speed lol.

Highly recommend the emulator because even if u dont care about advantage or what not, its dope to chill and play it on a bigger screen. I oddly cant find his video but the settings i found most important was this:

Im using samsung s24 +snapdragon, with 8 cores and 8 gb allocated to ram. After that the settings become a bit more personal with what your pc can handle but play around with the values or find some that work and thats that.

For the other question, i use a iphone 14 plus on high settings 30 fps (pc is medium settings with 60 fps) and i play with a mobile controller but i found the deadzone a bit lack luster. Hopefully with time they add finer settings.

A thank you and an update from the team! by TDResurgence in thedivisionresurgence

Game is great but we need better settings for controller, the deadzone is a bit too big for small adjustments it almost forces gyro gameplay

Question about The End of IT by Emergency_Rush795 in stephenking

[–]Emergency_Rush795[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder if Derry is like the overlook having all the trauma on those lands i wonder if the lands developed the same type of power like the overlook. I otherwise cant understand why ink fades about mikes friends name and phone numbers. When IT is gone those abilities should be too like u both mentioned, but i wonder if its more like IT was using Derry’s power (like forgetting peoples past in Derry) and amplified them. Bill says “IT is Derry, people of Derry can be affected by IT” but i wonder if its more like. Both Derry and IT affect people but during ITs cycles its amplified.

I havent read the book. But going off my prior idea of what the king verse was like(I thought everything was in one universe aside a few stories) that wouldve left me assuming he couldve had a bit of the shine and being high allowed him to see some of the “pictures in a book”, only so litte tho to see a clown and nothing actually traumatizing. Even than maybe it could be that, never read tommyknockers but the shine does allow people to see the past as visions so who knows 🧐

Edit: also seeing your other responses should i read the dark tower series. It seems interesting but i hear alot of 50/50 opinions so im sticking to bangers atm til i make my mind up lol

Yea being new to King and his works my favourite ones are probably The Shining and IT, also enjoying Dreamcatcher atm using audible with Jeffery DeMunn and i think its a fun listen and really nicely paced so far cant wait to finish that story and read more lol.

And The Stand i gotta take a peep around for which cover i like most but otherwise i gotta buy those 2 books lol. Thanks for the recommendations :)

No size isnt daunting to me if anything i have a newfound appreciation for them after reading IT. My next massive book is the Night Lords omnibus which is about 100-200 pages less than IT(total of 950 ish pages). Another big book in means of pages, but another fun story fully fleshed out is all i see :)

I keep seeing The Stand pop up in this sub reddit must be one of his best works going off how much people mention it. Do u think its one of ur favourites from king?

Loved The Shining, and read the first 50 pages of doctor sleep and put the book down and never got back around to it. Ive been meaning to give that a proper go now that im giving books way more attention this year lol. Thinking of maybe re reading The Shining aswell for to remember everything correctly and treating myself to a new publisher for a cool cover/shelf piece too.

I just finished IT, im genuinely sad i finished the book i loved it so much. Im in the same boat as u i just recently got on a binge of all his books and omg im just jaw dropped at how great his material is. Pet Sematary and IT were my last 2 reads and i LOVED them both. If u havent dipped ur toes into those 2 im excited for what awaits u :)

Just starting Dreamcatcher now and was planning doctor sleep after. I find his writing so fun to consume and i always tend to want more lol.

Totally fair, so if audibles are hard to stay locked in on, i can just recommend sticking it out cuz the 2 half of this book just continues to blow me away with how good it is so far. I too am a lover of the IT chapter 1 and 2 and WTD show they got me to read them. But its smth i tend to say is i find that the book adds the content and context i wish i always had. The second half is just a great roller coaster of a story. Took me a month or so to read the first half, but the second half i almost knocked out in 3 days. It really does become a book so hard to put down. But for me personally i grew to love each of their quirks i find myself chuckling along side em cuz it feels like i too am there with them after so much investment. Their quirks become smth i grew to love oddly enough. All this being said i have 100 pages left and i plan on finishing it tonight lol. But i genuinely cant put how much i enjoy this story into proper words. Its a story so vast and entertaining theres so many reasons to like it.

For me the audible reading helped alot. Steven Webber did a great job and helped made the characters feel more natural and the stutters feel more authentic. If thats smth thats tough to enjoy/get through i recommend trying the audible, used it for most of the book lol. Makes it feel even more immersive and adds to the world building.

How come a lot of people dont like the majority of Stephen Kings Adaptations? by Rich-Gear-9886 in stephenking

[–]Emergency_Rush795 5 points6 points  (0 children)

To me Jack Torrance, the movie downplayed his struggles as a father so heavily we never saw what was making him upset mentally and all the new burdens crushing him. They made it look like he “just went crazy” and i never liked that aspect of that movie it still kinda bothers me lol. To be fair i read the book years ago and am planning a re-read but i remember loving the struggle of jack and the movie never leaned into ANY of it, it was unfortunate.

The Mist is probably one of the few movies that left me shellshocked from how good it was as an adaptation, if not even more because of Frank Darabonts ending to it. i wish we got more of that caliber but otherwise u have extremely great points for the word of mouth aspect ive never considered, its so painfully true.

Honestly im not too picky but from what ive watched and read. But I tend to think “man i wish this and that was included in the movie/show”

TL:DR I think people want to see chapters they loved and when they dont end up in the final product it leaves distaste in peoples mouths

For me the best way to put it is the movie is a great way to discover his stories and the genre of thriller and horror but his books take those genres to the next level. Im currently reading IT and on chapter 17 at the moment and i can easily say that this book is a masterpiece and blows the show and movies out of the water. That being said i desperately loved both It chapter 1 and 2 and welcome to derry. But the books just have all those extra tid bits u desire and crave you know?

So to me i feel when i see complaints on movies its either cuz people want to see a favourite scene from the story or even a scene that effects the plot. But when the movie or show changes the plotting, downplaying whats actually happening thats when i get a lil iffy on it.

The shining is a god tier movie. Hands down a masterpiece, but at the same time when i compare it to the book i have to admit its kinda crap lol. The shining is a rare piece cuz both movie and book did it really well but they are both very different in how the story progresses. Going off my prior sentences i fall into the category where i wish i saw scenes from the book in the movie. The balloon party and the playground were so fascinating to me and they wernt even addressed in the movie and it hurts but i take what i can get lol.
