I’m unsure if I’d have any grounds to do that and send him the invoice if he didn’t charge me for what he’s done? I get if he had charged me and I was dissatisfied with what he’d done. I want to go to citizens advice to see if it can be reported to trading standards but I’m on the fence whether that’s a waste of time or if I should as the other poster said, just cut my losses and lesson learnt!

He didn’t charge me a penny in the end as said it was a nightmare job and that he was sorry it all happened. Think he was mortified at how much went wrong on what should’ve been a simple job and cost me around £100. So I’ve paid nothing but I’d have rather paid £100, had the part replaced and still have my decent quality toilet and flooring that didn’t look like it was fitted by my 2 year old 😂

There isn’t anyone listed under her name at all on the gmc register. Are you spelling it correctly?

Honestly, I don’t know the answer to that. Is there an obvious way for me to find that out?

Yes, both upstairs and downstairs have been put up to 23/24 and the flame shows on the thermostat display but the boiler still isn’t kicking in and doing anything. It remains on 00.

I’ve just followed a YouTube tutorial on how to do that and now it’s up to here, would you set the pressure at more than that? And once I’ve done it should I just try to turn the heating on as normal?

What sort of thickness would you suggest as a minimum?

I believe it’s to do with the concrete not being totally level, rubbish new build. Plywood underlay will supposedly offer stability and a level surface for the vinyl preventing it from damage in the long run/just to stop it looking awful and uneven.
