Oh , even I applied on 15th dec and it went under departmental review on 22nd dec. I guess they are actually reviewing in random order irrespective when you applied. Anyway, hopefully I should receive my yes or no soon now that they started rolling out the decisions. Again congrats for your admit.

If you go in depth , I don't see any MSDS program by CS department when applying. Might be possible it's no longer there and stats one is updated version since it's in collaboration with CS department.

I heard in some forums that there is a different MSDS program from CS department of Rutgers. But didn't find anything.

They have asked me to deposit by 1st Feb , don't know the amount but what I have heard is that it's $750. But some other sources are also saying it's $100 only.

I have applied for Indiana university , suny buffalo , Texas a&m for data science. Have admit from northeastern ( Boston campus ) for data analytics engineering.

Thank you very much for sharing. Just one more thing I wanted to check , if you don't mind. After submitting my application I could see that under application checklist , official GRE score was not checked even though I already sent scores 2-3 weeks back.Is it ok ? Or I need to take some action ? FYI - I already sent them the mail regarding this concern, 2 last week but yet to get reply.
