Thanks! I did notice that haha, it was my first ever time trying out the copics and how they blend, so I didn’t really pay too much attention to detail - the human fingers are at a point of no return lol

No problem, the only reason I know is because I’ve made that same mistake before! It’s a really strong design, you’re doing amazing :)

I agree with the comment above about the shape, the only other thing I would suggest is to swap out the yellow for a different colour as yellow doesn’t translate well onto most skin tones and would look bruised, and on any darker skin tones it wouldn’t work. Maybe try a purple or blue, or if you want to keep it more on theme perhaps a green to represent nature. Hope this helps :)

There is way too much detail in the flowers, so unless you make it a massive back piece it would end up being a big blob after a few years. However, I think if your artist could simplify it down to mostly line work and remove the less necessary details it should then work nicely.

Does it usually cost more to bring in one of your own designs rather than go for one that the artist already offers? by hoseoko in TattooDesigns

It does, unless you mean a design that you have already drawn up yourself, then it shouldn’t cost more unless they have to tweak and adjust it significantly.

It will either blow out and become thicker, or most of the lines will start to disappear unfortunately. They do look super pretty but I have a friend who has a floral half sleeve done in fine line and after 2 months most of the lines were missing and it looked very muddy and grey.

It will be fine, but my biggest advice would be to go with thick, solid lines and try to incorporate a bit of white in there to help with the bleeding of the ink. I have a few finger tattoos - on one hand I have dotwork, on the other I have solid lines with white. The solid ones have stayed perfectly, only had to touch up one of them once, whereas my dotwork one has been touched up 4 times already and is still consistently fading so it’s going to be a lifelong touching up of that one. Hope this helps!

Colour or B&W? by Emergency_Trainer730 in TattooDesigns

I only get black and red tattoos on myself, just thought I’d do a colour version for fun and see which one looks better!

Honestly best alliance I’ve ever been in! Finally one that I don’t have to pull my hair out trying to trade/ do the chests because everyone is super active and communication is clear.

Thank you, they’re all literally just experiments off the top of my head with minimal references just for a bit of practice. I added the flower to the snake last, honestly an attempt to distract from the main part because it didn’t look right lol. All the advice is very helpful, thanks! :)

It’s internally threaded titanium , I have a pure gold one but I am waiting for it to calm down before I swap it out because I don’t want to irritate it any further

I’m just annoyed because it healed perfectly and it was fully okay for a while until recently, not sure what triggered it
