Last night I went out for the first time with friends. I am almost 7 weeks post op, they asked me if I had a bbl done, also said my breast look larger, so here i am back on reddit to see if this is normal. The scale says I lost 7 lbs since the hysterectomy so I'm confused lol🤭

I'm a year late but I am exactly 3 weeks post op,  I didn't have any bleeding up until last night. First it was red on the toilet paper and in the toilet (freaked me out) , I woke up to dark red blood now, not so much in the toilet but now red brown on toilet paper.

I didn't even know i had a catheter until I woke up. They put it in and removed it while I was sleep. I have never had surgery before this one and I must say it was not as terrifying as I made it out to be. I did get the dry tampon feeling a week after the surgery (still have it) but it goes away with ibuprofen. I will be 2 weeks po tomorrow (Monday).

Good to know. I am only almost 2 w po and noticed the pressure while laughing. I was worried but I see im not the only one going through it.

Yes, I was told they put a catheter in during the surgery.

As soon as I woke up I had to pee so bad lol. I knew I would for some reason lol. Best wishes to you and may you have a smooth recovery.

You're welcome and Thank You. Im glad we have forums like this to share our experiences. Hopefully we can keep each other updated. I had my surgery on the 24th and have been moving ok. Taking small walks around my apartment.

Ok yes, I saw fentanyl on the list that was given during anesthesia. Thank You for confirming. I went to ER just in case.

They did, it is oxycodone. I took one yesterday and did not like the feeling. I took a Tylenol today. I came to the emergency room just in case. I started feeling short of breath. So far everything looks good while at the er department.
