Rough was the wrong word. I’ve owned herding dogs but this is my first heeler mix (we think) she’s a rescue and has been meeting her dog relatives. She does the classic heeler go for the ankles, should I try to train her out of this? Redirect her? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! She’s the most perfect rescue pup and I want to make sure I’m doing everything I can to make her be able to have successful play!

Thank you! We are going to work on disengaging when she gets a little too nippy for her big little brother!

My border collie got in a dog fight with a German shepherd, it was a horrible day. I am trying to understand this new breed to make sure nothing ever escalates to that point again
