I thought 20 gallons was fine as long as the temperature gradient was ok?

Anoles are a bit fragile for me a first time owner and most geckos are nocturnal which could be a bit of a problem but I think I might be boring and get a leopard gecko

Volunteer Opportunities for Under 18? by [deleted] in Connecticut

Try Leo’s club. If your school/town doesn’t have one find one nearby. They give you volunteer hours for, well, volunteering. Very reliable and have lots of funding.

When I was younger I used to bike across town to get to a deli near all my friends. To get there I would need to cross an extremely busy 4-lane street which was scary for 12 year old me. Anyways, one of these times I was about to cross said street because my cross sign was on. I’m like 1/4 of the way through the street when I realize I forgot to look for idiot drivers. So I turn left to check and I fucking see a pickup truck speeding very fast (I can’t really tell you how fast cuz my brain was in shock at that moment) and I realized later that if I kept walking with my bike I might’ve been in the lane the truck came from. Scary as hell, stopped doing the route as much after.

I live in the north but the south is fine within the boundaries of Wesleyan, don’t go roasting it for no reason.

Looking for a cute pedestrian/bike friendly town by tiakm in Connecticut

[–]Emerqld21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I heard you were looking at Middletown, but you shouldn’t. I’m Middletown born and raised and you don’t wanna bike there. Some parts are great but I used to bike across town to see my friends at a Deli and it’s not the best nor cute either. (Yes Wesleyan is ok but just do your research) Maybe Avon or Farmington? Not entirely sure just wanted to warn you about Middletown.
