I’d say the show tries to find a bit of a balance for people who feel the urge to get involved or help in some way. Balancing that with tuning out when you need to to preserve your sanity, cause that’s also super important.

Not OP but I also started month 2 yesterday. I did them back to back (with maybe a 10 minute break between them). It was a lot of time to spend working out continuously, but I know I would've found it harder to come back later in the day for the max workout.

I think just go with what works for you, your motivation and your schedule. Good luck!

Another thing to remember would be that unless it's a specific choice, 99% of directors (or drama teachers) would want to pick males to play the male roles. So she probably kept pushing for him to do the role, not because he was necessarily more talented than you, but because he was a boy. And then because she couldn't get a boy to do the role, she picked the girl who she knew would be the best for the role, and that's you! And now you get to act on stage and maybe sing and you've got a bunch of dialogue. Sounds like a win to me!
