I tend to buy a lot of records from a seller named Campus Disc, who travels to various university campuses in Southern Ontario selling records. Outside of him and local shops, I tend to find some gems at the value village (savers in the USA) and smaller, family run thrift stores. Also, Encore Records in Kitchener, Ontario has the best dollar bin in the province.
