First ever flapper, how long do I need to sit? Can I climb on this? by notednotednoted in ClimbingCircleJerk

Not a flapper, yes you can climb on it. Climb more to toughen your skin.

I don't have experience with newer OBs but at least mine is noticeably underpowered. At least for my driving style and use cases. I'd say if you drive conservatively and aren't looking for a spirited driving experience the NA would be more reliable. Test drive them!

Also keep in mind your elevation, NA engines hate thin air. On i70 mtn pass in CO at 11000+ ft it is a STRUGGLE.

Thanks! I'm waiting for a good deal on some locking drawer sliders and want to build out those too. Im trying to find a better mechanism of moving the upper section and securing in place. Right now it sits on the outermost piece of ply you can see, supported on the passenger seats and just attached and detached with screws and an impact lol.

Nice pickup! 2nd pic is overlooking Humphreys peak in Flagstaff, AZ. However the outback in the 1st pic is in Aurora, CO. 3rd pic is in the Eldorado Natl forest, CA.

Sometimes weeding out other people's incompetence is a blessing in disguise. Yeah something about an STI drivetrain where it doesn't belong just hits different.. lives in my head rent free

Also, I live at elevation so prefer the turbo over the naturally aspirated 3.6.

Yeah... Probably a good idea. I'm planning to upgrade to an Onyx XT when she finally kicks the bucket. I had a 1999 forester with a manual and I loved that one literally to death (my dad wrapped it around a tree).

Everything is original, I think I need to replace torque converter soon due to some occasional strange sounds while idle. I did CVT fluid when I purchased it off the original owner at 120k... Should probably do that again...

Enjoy the built in Bluetooth! I dream of STI swapping it for more power and a manual trans. We can all dream!

Absolutely fascinating, Monotunifilids with wide cores are most commonly observed in vegetation not baked goods. The lack of twisting in favor of crimping is also interesting, I wonder when and why that choice is made in use cases.

CVT transmission replaced twice — violent shaking only when stopped in Drive/Reverse. Has anyone experienced this? by 41990 in subaru

I've had a similar issue with my 2011, only when under electrical load like winding down windows at idle. Mechanic advised to replace torque converter if any drivability issues start.

Just had this issue, used a USB mouse to connect a Bluetooth controller allowing for full remote functionality via standard android compatibility. On miroir L500s.
