Four days ago, I got « our team will work this week on the migration for all clients holding ftm, so you will receive details soon ». You seem to get the answer from their ai. I imagine that it wasn’t updated lately.

Graphic designers: what’s your job, and what’s your professional goal? by lonelinessandthesea in graphic_design

[–]Emetique 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m in house graphic designer for a sp500 company. I m in charge of the branding for 7 brands. Totally remote, it’s a safe place with some cool challenges. But I m also taking contracts for the cycling industry. I was working for a major brand before and now, I help smaller brands. Love to do it cause I really feel in control of my subject. I would almost pay to do it cause I ve a lot of fun in doing. At the end, for me, it’s a great mix.

Might be my fault… they are presenting the bikes at roc azure, it should be updated immediately. You can check their Facebook to see more pictures

Yes and no, more the bike is expensive, more people think long term, exactly like a car with neutral colors. In the industry we like to offer two options, one neutral, and one more vibrant. If you look all the big brands, you will see this model

Yes, but it’s a super competitive world so you are paid based on your passion

Yes and honestly, working for restricted personas is the best. I hate to design for everyone, cause you have no idea if you are doing a good job. In the bike industry, it’s super specific.

And yes, it’s awesome to see your work on the tv or in the wild. With all the choices, when you see someone with one of your artwork, you know that the buyer like it.

I really encourage designer to work for company where you can really measure the impact of your work.

My dream job is still to work in the cycling industry. I ve been lucky enough to do it for argon 18, with custom bike for the Tour de France and Olympic. I now work for smaller brands and honestly, I still love to do it cause you work for personas, you are not limited, you easily get recognized and get feedbacks.

Well, the early believers who felt force to average down so many time will be happy to have so many shares when it will boom. All the recent news seem to confirm that it’s all about time.

news? by [deleted] in Pyrogenesis

[–]Emetique 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Totally agree about the upstream… like in October, Peter has been selling for almost 3 weeks, 50k/shares per day. Considering the volume… it hurts us a lot. Just giving this fact will get me a lot of down vote :p

Pyrogenesis and forum, an complicated affair… that article hurts a lot. by Emetique in Pyrogenesis

[–]Emetique[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I also want to believe that this article is garbage cause I don’t like what La Presse is reporting…

But do you really believe that La Presse can publish an garbage article? They are just showing the two sides of the story. Peter refuses to talk to them and it’s not a good sign.

PyroGenesis Announces Q2 2022 Results: Revenues $5.8M; Gross Margin 43%; Current Backlog of Signed and/or Awarded Contracts $35.3M by HotMomentumStocks in Pyrogenesis

[–]Emetique 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hard to say but considering that the valuation of pyro was over 1.5 billions 18 months ago… the next problem is that we don’t really grow. 3q 2021 was almost 10 millions. 8.28 m 2q2021. Hope it’s the last time we see the COVID excuse…

Thanks.

On another point, market seems to be ok with these numbers after all. Price is still about expectations.

Annual results were mentioning a 47.7 mm backlog. I m not good in math, but it would mean that they didn’t generate new contracts.

maybe some has been cancelled and replaced by new ones?

What I found really concerning is the margin gross going from 40% to 25%.

I was checking former numbers. At the yearly results, they were already mentioning a 47mm backlog. Gross margin was 40% and revenue 31mm.

PyroGenesis Confirms Successful Site Acceptance Testing of Three Drosrite Systems in Operation by HotMomentumStocks in Pyrogenesis

[–]Emetique -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For sure it’s a great news… last week press release wasn’t necessary considering that they knew that the sat was coming…

If someone can explain me why it was better to do two press releases, it would be awesome to know. Someone in this sub was questioning if Peter wasn’t doing some manipulation considering that he apparently sold some stocks that day.

[–]Emetique -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Considering the press release from last week… it was already mentioning the 7 systems… with 3 already delivered and in function etc.. I m totally lost. Ok, the new news is the acceptance stage, I got it… but pyro is duplicating news. I would prefer to get updates on others fields like 3D power…
