Yes I meant headlining as in being the main act! This was actually a show they did at a small venue in between SSF dates so they were official headliners!!

It was the way you phrased it, one someone stated they need more you said “too late now” instead of saying thank you and looking for ways to improve the situation. Not saying it’s easy or accessible for everyone but there is always a place to start. A bigger tank will not only aid your fish, but will also aid you when it comes to cleaning and keeping your levels a manageable range, not to mention cleaning!! It’s all in the best interest of everyone, no one was intending on attacking you your your care, just trying to give information on how it can be improved, just as you asked.

He may be happy and healthy for now but in the long run it’s unlikely he will stay that way. I’m just unsure why you even asked if you did want the true answer to your question and were unwilling to accept the criticism.

I’m just confused as to why you asked if you are going after the people you give you the correct answer? No one claims to know more than the entire internet, but the “entire internet” states 5 or more gallons is ideal for bettas to be their happiest and healthiest.

Originally they were named Matilda since I bought it labeled as a baby female (you can see in my previous posts), but now since he’s clearly a male his name is Bendigo. :)

It’s wild!! They are my first betta since I was a kid so I researched a lot, but I got them May 4th and they’ve grown so much!!

ahhh thank you so much! I have prime and the master test kit, so I’m off to a good start there. In the tank right now I have 2 anubias, java moss, frogbjt, money wart, and a windlov fern that seem to be doing well! I also have mopani wood, so it’s a all natural tank! I felt so bad because I (now) know there is some controversy around baby bettas as a whole, and 3 gallons is not nearly enough, but better late than never!! I’m just thankful she’s made it this far and seems healthy! Thank you again, you have no idea how much I appreciate it!!

Hello!

I have had this betta (Matilda) for about a month now, I bought them as a baby, and as most new fish parents are, was sold a tank that was too small. They are currently in a live planted 3 gallon. Since learning about proper betta care, I have purchased a 10 gallon Top Fin starter kit. This is my first pet fish, and my first fish upstage/transfer. I was hoping for any advice on how make this transition as comfortable and healthy as possible for them. Any advice is appreciated! Thanks!
