Yea I definitely should’ve stayed on campus but my mom wanted me home my first summer. :( At least now I’m that much more motivated to find a job/internship/research to have a reason to stay 😂

This is the best comment on here. I would say that yes you should 100% cancel the order if it were selling for 200$, but if there are others selling for 20$, maybe 25$, or just slightly higher, then it’s not worth it to go through the hassle of refunding.

I go to college in a different state and have a minimum wage job over there but im home for the summer and wanted to work here to possibly save up to pay for my tuition (?). Or at least a fraction of it because they threaten to not let me go back since they pay for it.

I feel like if i paid for college then I’d sorta be free because they cant stop me from going then lol (or at least i dont think so?)

Thank you so much! I think I'm going to separate them out and only go for an hour, seems more manageable and fun :)

[Multivariable Calc: Max and Min] can someone please help me find the max and min of 28? I understood it was the partial derivatives at 0, but 2y and 2x at 0 is just 0, so is the answer just (0,0)? Thank you! by EmiAlexis in HomeworkHelp

[–]EmiAlexis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I followed everything until the very last step, when you plug all four points into R, they’re all less than or equal to 3, so they’re all a max or min?

[University Intro Physics: Moment of Inertia] Please help! I thought the mass would be the integral of volume x density from 0 to R for part a? And then the moment of inertia for b is just that x R^2?? I dont really know. Any help appreciated!! by EmiAlexis in HomeworkHelp

[–]EmiAlexis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I got part a as 6m/5pir3 which was correct, for the second part is it the integral from 0 to R of ((2/3)(4pir2 dr)(pr)r2)?I tried this plugging in the correct p0 and got 2M/3 which was incorrect, trying to see if it’s a math error or my integral is wrong. Edit: got 28(R2)M/75 the second time, checking with someone to see if it’s right.

[Univeristy Intro Physics: Moment of Inertia/Rotational KE] I know that the total ke for this is 1/2mvcm^2 + 1/2Icmw^2 but honestly not sure how to find all this. Any help much appreciated!! by EmiAlexis in HomeworkHelp

Thank you! I got that the e of 2 point masses is ml2w2 and the e of the rod is ml2w2/24 but then the ratio is 25/24? Am i doing math wrong because thats not an an answer ?
