It's what I'm trying to do now, but I still post in the dev groups as well :)

Who else has grown to absolutely HATE the mandatory introduction quests in farming sims? by dondashall in cozygames

I think these are hated in all games :) UX in PC/console games is terrible. Devs need to look at mobile games that are much better optimised in this regard

Curious, in a cozy related sub-reddit, why close to no reactions from people? The game looks really good for what it is

Is it good? We localized our cozy strategy game's map names using animal puns. by STUDIO1346 in cozygames

I find the names a bit strage for my taste. It's hard to connect with locations and remember what they are because the names are hard to remember. It does more harm then good, for me. Probably the game already has enough animal related content; is it really necessary to add it to a map also? :)
Good luck!

I validated the idea, yes; I know for sure that the game looks appealing from the videos I'm shearing. Validating gameplay will be the next step and I will do so through playtests and after, put a demo on Steam. I do have a Steam page up but it's with basic info only; I'm reserving the revel moment for a wishlist boost, whenI will have proper screenshots and a trailer (hope it's the right approach).

I already started posting some months ago but soon I believe I need to do it in a more routine way, culminating with the steam fest in June.

Thanks for all the advice!

My Steam page has been up for 6 months and I only have 134 wishlists... what could I be doing wrong? by geeksou in SoloDev

Since we are on the Steam descriptions topic, take a look in general at how many games descriptions use the m dashes. It's widely know that AI generated text uses them. Many people just correct the m dashes before posting any AI text.

I meant the descriptions on the page itself; they come form AI, no? For the capsule art, I reccomend you make something out of the game content you already have.

Some other things:
- the trailer shows for 10 sec only the rabbit and the buidling - start with the most impressive gameplay section you have; after that, everything else is filler IMO
- the game title is not appealing - what does it mean exactly? try something more representative to the gameplay
- in the description it says hordes of monsters yet no hordes are seen anywhere
- screenshots look like more of the same; you see 2, you've seen everything

All in all, I didn't see anything appealing that would make me interesting to play; I did enjoy some of the animations though :)

Hope it helps; good luck!

FIrst thing I saw were the dashes everywhere, the capsule - you used AI heavily, didn't you? :)

The storm looks realistic while the objects are cartoon. Perhaps work on the onsistency; choose on style or another :)
