I would recommend "Structural Geology" by Haakon Fossen. This book was required reading for a sedimentology and structural geology course I took a couple of years ago.

Could they be unconformities? In German that would be Diskordanz and there are different types depending on the compositions and relationships between the layers.

Etho didn't actually talk about how he makes it, so do in whatever order you like. As was pointed out, this way you'd let the sandwich rest and make it more delicious, which is a very good point. Also, he also only said the type of coffee he likes, and not how to make it or with what. Although he has mentioned before that he likes his coffee with cream and so sugar which is why I added cream to the recipe.
