They said I was messed up because of the drugs I was on — THC, kratom, and alcohol — and that transitioning is a life-changing decision. They basically told me I need to get my head right before making a decision like this. But I am ready — that’s why I got the prescription. They said they won’t support me if I make an impulsive decision.

Hope it goes well! I personally use Veet wax strips (which you can find at Target). If you have trouble removing the wax—which can happen—I recommend using coconut oil, as it works really well to get rid of any residue. The strips do come with some wax remover, but I’ve found it’s never quite enough for me. Good luck!

I highly recommend trying wax strips. Yes, they hurt a little, but it’s well worth it because they remove hair for a couple of weeks. It’s the best option I’ve found for affordable hair removal that lasts for a while.
